Travel Designer / Tour Planner (Remote)– Adventure & Luxury Travel in Japan
About KODO Travel
KODO Travel is a boutique travel company specializing in adventure and luxury tours that showcase Japan’s rich natural landscapes and cultural heritage. We primarily serve B2B clients (travel agencies and corporations) from North America, Europe, and Australia, providing tailor-made itineraries and seamless travel experiences for inbound visitors.
Despite being a small team of 12, we have established ourselves as a leader in Japan’s adventure travel industry, taking on numerous projects with local governments and tourism associations to promote inbound travel. Founded by Mike, who has over 30 years of experience in Japan’s adventure travel sector, and Shannon, a former marketing specialist at Tourism New Zealand, KODO Travel continues to shape the future of adventure tourism in Japan.
We are currently looking for a Tour Planner to join our team. This is a full time position. Ideally you will have experience in the travel industry or a customer facing role. Ability to manage your time effectively, attention to detail, creativity and problem solving skills are key attributes we are seeking. If you want to thrive in a global, remote-friendly environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
